Matthew Samson is responsible for all commercial and multi-family transactions in Union County. Matt is based out of the Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey office. Prior to joining Redwood, Matt worked for a mid-size public accounting firm which specialized in servicing real estate companies. These services included conducting audit, review and compilation engagements for commercial real estate portfolios and multi-family management companies and preparation of such financial statements. Additionally, Matt also worked for a major real estate investment trust, where he was responsible for quarterly SEC reporting requirements, debt compliance, assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, and completion of ad-hoc reports. This experience has helped Matt gain invaluable understanding of analytics and forecasting of all types of real estate properties and entities.

In his spare time, Matt stays active in weightlifting and enjoys playing golf. He enjoys traveling and is an avid sports fan, in particular the New York Yankees and New York Jets. Matt graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting.
